LVP On Stair Treads Open Ended On 1 Side, Any Tips

I have to install 3 steps with LVP and the treads are open ended on 1 side. I used this edge on the other 12, now comes the fun part.
Anyone have tips on the 45's since its a curved face molding. I cut the first 12 edgings(wall to wall) with my non-ferous metal blade on the miter saw.
Since the edging isn't a flat face you won't get a tight 90.. Balustrades are off the stairs so at least its an open install on the tread.

You should be able to get a decent miter, flat or not.

FYI, those nosings don't meet code here with treads less than 12". Need 3/4 to 1 1/4" nosing projection.

Curious on the code thing. The stairs I'm working on are 10 1/2 inch treads with 1 1/4 overhangs. Pretty well standard here.

Then they are fine. I've seen that style trim used without an overhang.
