Laminate Flooring Lifting Issue?

Six months ago family members had a tongue in groove laminate flooring system installed in the kitchen/dining areas and hallway. The original vinyl flooring was removed and stripped down to the subfloor. The subfloor was level and in excellent condition.

We recently noticed that in quite a few areas, some of the flooring is lifting. What would be causing this? Does the entire system need to be removed and reinstalled, or can they repair the areas that are lifting?

Thanks

Did they leave enough expansion room around the walls? My guess is no. Expanded as far as it can & has no choice but to go up.

Re: Laminate Flooring Lifting Issue?

Just start removing whatever is holding down the edges and see if it has room to expand.
