Mine is all word of mouth, we have a couple of general contractors that we do regular work for and a couple window and door companies and I usually have more than enough referrals to keep me busy, actually too busy
But I have my dad to thank for that, when you have a good name the work flows in. It has been a family business since 1955

Website is best money ever spent in my entire life.
Also do Angie's, HA, fb. Have regulars I sub for and tons of word of mouth. Takes a chit load of jobs to stay busy.
Even word of mouth is turning digital. They have open forums with apps like facebook and next door neighbor where customers are always looking for some service. It doesnt hurt to put yourself out there and introduce yourself to the neighbors. Web pages are also great once you figure out your budget in promoting your business. Go free first then get the word of mouth going. After youve proven yourself to a couple of loyal clients they will try to keep you busy by referring you.
Word of mouth, we are as busy as I want to be. Any advertising is sponsoring high school sports and various events just to keep my name out there.
I have intentionally avoided FB and having a website, although I have given it serious consideration over the years.
Word of Mouth and reputation. Once they first meet you and realize you are everything they were told, you have the job. If you do have to compete against other bidders, it is merely a formality or just to make sure you aren’t totally out of line.
Website mostly, sites4contractors, best money you'll spend
