Most stuff I'm cutting is backer board and that edge does not last that long. I use about 2 blades a day when we are boarding.

After the face shot I'm going to try that old Fat Max blade...

I'm not a huge fan of setting tile over Ship Lap. I would assume that Wedi wants you to thin-set the Wedi down over the Ship Lap and in doing so you will block the boards ability to move and expand....

The 1"x1" slate accent tile is slightly smaller than the full tile we set. I used a little Grani Rapid and Mapecem Pre-Mix to fine tune the grading.
