Renovation of a flooring of a 1920's house.

Leveling the joist, installation of the OSB pannels, glued and top nail of a 10mm thickness french Oak, V chamfered. Sanded and varnish with 3 coats of poly.

    Did they leave all that debris under there?

    Yes, I did not touch a single brick,most of them were stuck in cement.There is a basement underneath, which is built in arc style, better not touching the bricks.

    Do your floor joists bear on the masonry below? It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but that looks like a long span for floor joists that aren't that wide.

    ou, est-ce que les solives sont supportées par la maçonnerie? Les solives m'apparaissent tres longues, pour leur largeur. (Mon français est faible, mais je crois que vous me comprenez).
