Including the stairs the deck measures out to 16'x27' and is 6' off the ground. Will have a pergola above the right half of thedeck. Framing is ac2 and the skirt boards, decking, and railing is red cedar. The deck has hidden fastners and the hand rail has black aluminum spindles.

You attached a swingset to it? Fantastic! I have to ask about riser height also as well as the depth of the landing? Probably the camera angle (like the swingset attached). What will the finish be?

Thanks guys yeah the risers look crazy steep in that pic, but they aren't they are 7.25" with 11" treads. The landing is 42" deep.

The over hang on the deck is 2' That last tall post is still 4' away from the corner of the deck. The corner of the deck is right next to the upper cross brace of the swing set on the right side. Added the last pic I have until monday. Click on the photos to get a closer look.

Looking good, Cole. I can't wait to see the pergola added in. Not being critical, but I have one question about the 42" landing: if you have the room in front of the stairs, wouldn't it be more advantageous to move them forward to allow MORE room in case someone is bringing a lounge chair or table onto the deck?

I totally agree but wasn't able to convince the HO. They wanted as much yard as possible. Not that it is a huge deal, but there is some drain tile that would have to be moved as well.
