And the problem is...............? That I don't brush everything? Or that I feel for areas I choose to roll are protected just as well as if brushed and look just as good.....

I love to use a 1/2"nap"weenie"roller when I can get away with it! On Facias or corners they work great and faster than a brush. Besides at 8-10 ft who can tell the difference? ...

I agree with Pinwheel. I would just stick with oil. Less risky. What is the benefit to using oil and water?
