  cut the grout out first (grinder works best)then smash out the tile. We used wood chisels to cut the thinset ridges and 4" razor scrapers for the rest. A shop vac is necessary ...

  If you don't charge for the plans, etc then add it into the bid. Just don't give them the plans to review. Better to be upfront about the cost, though. Regarding the cowardice...
