Picture MasterPiece FirePlace
This was a job in the Bay Meadows area, in Jax, Fla, for the owner of Young American Homes. Track houses where his specialty, not his home. This is a 2 sided , see thru fireplsce that goes almost 30' high. Chiseled edge stone, that comes consisting of 8"x8",8"x16",16"x16",16"x24". Home owner didn't want to follow the map. Made my own pattern. Then he decided to put 16"x16"(4 of them) on a diagonal, for a center spot. Please pay attention to the straight edge and line, going up to the sky. All outside edges were hand chisled, to match the product. Jeff(Stick) was instrumental on this job!!! He takes everyones talent, that he has learned from, and creates his own. Can't understand why the man just wants to be the help??? Was very lucky, for him to be there with me on this one!!! As you can see in the pics, last stack had no side support. We both let the builder know, we don't go any farther. Sheetrock crew brought us 4 more legs. Still not good enough for me. Needed planks from side to side. Builder brought warped junk from jobsite. Let him know, new boards, or no go. As you can see in the pics, Jeff and I felt safer. All boards were screwed in, from side to side, and the whole system was like that around the whole fireplace. No movement at all.

Picture Stone Hall Bath Nightmare
This is a job for some friend's of mine. Turned into a time consuming nightmare. Think I made a whole 12-pack of Bud!!! They are remodeling thier house one room at a time. This bath consisted of 18"x18" cheap Travertine from Lowes. As you can see in the pics, they were cut into 7"x10" pieces, and 4"x4" pieces. The brainer was figuring how big the diagonal parts needed to be to make the pattern that he wanted and you see in the pics. All this was mudset, due to the bad walls. The bullnose edging was done by hand, no profile wheel involved. Amazing how good you can be to make them all the same, if your head is into it!!! All corners are mitred and cut on 45. 130 hrs, involved. Lost my rear end, even at friendship pay. They have a magizine photo bath, and I had a 12-pack, The chair rail design was on a sheet. Hints to do that applacation, mudset, will cost ya!!! Came out nice, pics were taken with flash and natural light.

Picture 2'x2' Granite And Marble Floor
This floor was all mudset on slab. New multi-million dollar home on the St. Johns River in Jax, Fla. 2'x2' material, granite was 1/2" thick and the carrea marble was 3/4" thick. Object is to create a mirror. I feel like I accomplished that strategy.
