Welding Custom handrail work

Hello, Just did a job in lookout mountain Colorado. I charged $100.00 a foot. Another Welder doing interior said he charged $400.00 a foot. What is the going rates for two rail, 4 rail, and custom cable with welded in verticals for interior fabrication?

I helped a friend do some railings for a town house builder. The charge was for about 125.00 a foot. That includes materials. The job was done in Dallas. Texas. Not sure about any other areas.
