Have any of you heard of a Trash Out, for REO (bank owned) properties? I was wondering if any of yall knew who to get in contact with for these kind of situations.

Welcome to CT - would you mind putting your location in your profile, that will help with getting answers based on your area

First place to start would be with this thread

Major MONEY MAKER IF you know how to collect! (R/E's are TYPICALLY Scumbaaags! Most of their "extra" property work is Out-Of-Pocket. Not from the Agency.)

Trash outs could be good profits. In NJ you need to have a permit from the DEP to start the business, so I would start by checking with the state. Here the waiting list is around 12 -16 months for the permits.
Then start contacting some realtors and banks.

wow that long to get into the business??? by that time it might not be as booming of a business as it is now. Luckly in las vegas all you need is a commerical business lic (usually either a janitorial lic and landscapping lic) to get started. Then you need GL ins of 1 million. then just equipt, truck, trailor helps, and then either get your training as you go ( not recommended) or find a p&p company that offers training. Then its just up to you on how busy you get by how much pavement you pound. The biggest decision is if you stay with small contacts ( listing agents) or take the chance and go national. National companies are a PAIN but they have lots of work. I dont know how it is by you but it seems out west that the listing agents dont seem to have the kind of inventory as they did a year ago so it might be a hard decision to make. Good luck to everyone.
