Stucco Removal

Hello All,
New to this site. I have a new total remodal job that I have to remove around 3000 sf of stucco. It's over clapboard and 1x6 boards underlayment. I want to remove the layer of stucco and add Hardi board over the clapboard. (Might reuse the clapboard if possible). Looking for ways to do this. Gas and a match is not an option, sorry.

Why are you removing the Stucco? I just did a stucco repair had to replace 8 panel off a 1924 house, the pictures are on my site.

Re: Stucco Removal

I was hoping tht somebody in this vast internet world had come up with some other. Anyone use pneumatic tools? Chisle behind the stucco on top of the clapboard? Just a hunch. And also I"m thankful I"m a HO but it's not my home.
