Will i warp it?

Just need to know what you guys think, now all the cars ive striped with crushed glass(very fine) the roof has been braced now in going to do a 1977 toyota celica in a day or two now ive never warped anything so far but this roof is horrible no bracing an its thin if you push down with your finger it flexes now if i run at 60psi or less with a no4 nozzle and work one layer at a time and go realy gentle can i pull this off ?
Or will i get myself balls deap in the ****.

Or should i pull out the soda blasting for this one (just the roof)
I would rather glass it so i dont have to wash down afterwards as the car is fully striped and i dont want to get soda in everything and spend hours getting the crap out.

I would just use soda don't chance it use the soda first on the part then wash it let it dry. Then hit the rest with crushed glass the MOH on crushed glass is higher around 5-6 I wouldn't trust it not to warp you have to move fast but once you warp its no going back.

I would strongly recommend not using any blast media on it, it's the middle of the roof, it will strip easily with chemicals. Simply blast around the edges and leave the middle alone, your customer will thank you.

I strongly feel that most people refer to themselves as professionals at their trade long before that title actually fits.

Hi Ausisoda. I was looking at this older post of yours. Havn't seen you on line for a bit. I wondered if you have discovered the wonders of walnut. When you want to avoid both warping as well as possible paint adhesion trouble it's the way to go. It also will not harm chrome or glass. and cost less, usually , than soda can. I depainted a 65 stang today with it. then you can use a fine glass at low psi, 25 to 30 just for rust and it won't build any heat.
