What Paint To Use For Blast Pot?

So this summer I'd like to sandblast my Clemco classic blast pot as its age is definitely starting to show, the paint is faded real bad, some stickers have started flaking off and theres some surface rust around the bottom of the pot and the wheel/stand area. So its a good candidate for some cleaning up.

I'm curious what you guys have used that stands up well to use & abuse. I'm thinking about going with a grey color choice, I thought about POR-15 but I've heard bad things about painting over base POR15 since by itself its sensitive to UV. Thoughts?

Panderson does that from time to time. You will have to excuse him. As far as a good paint to use. Just use a good epoxy primer and a good equipment enamel. I used to have about a dozen 6 cu. ft. Clemco Blast Pots and I always had the men to paint them up with a Equipment Enamel that was Catalized. I think I got my paint for them at a local automotive paint store that carried it. It's not got to be fancy. It's just a blast pot.

I used VanSickle from my local Tractor Supply. It is some pretty tough stuff. I blasted the pot, reduced and sprayed. Most Tractor Supply stores sell some good paint. http://www.vansicklepaint.com/tractor/tractorvs.html
