There isn't anyone around where they are it's probably private land but not marked or fenced in. Some is county land that is used for flood control areas. Some of it could be BLM land which is just federal land. I'm sure some are stolen but I haven't been out there since 05 so they could be gone since scrap metal spikes during the boom someone might have got them. I guess it's just a common site here in the deserts you see cars all shot up and stuff lay out there for years. You just don't see that in other parts of the country because most land is private not open like it is here but times are changing even here. Only 15 years ago we could drive 20min from Phoenix and shoot do just about anything out there most of those areas are now housing tracks full of foreclosed homes.
