Use a WIN Nozzle (Water Induction Nozzle) I heard its better than a ring. Win 4 or 5. I personally have a WIN 4 and think its pretty good. Are you still using sand to blast or did you find an alternative. Crushed Glass is pretty good on concrete, so ive heard.

Re: What Do You All Think About The Water Rings?
I have swithched almost entirely over to crushed glass. I love it. It has a lot of the same principals as soda. Do need to do prep work to windows and such. It will etch. Soda is so expensive it is hard for me to get customers to pay what I need for soda. Alternative - crushed glass. Unlike soda, this will remove set in rust like slag. The mfg.'s will tell you that it won't warp metal but I don't know if I believe that fully because it will etch the surface. I have done tractor restoration though. Thin guage tins. Did not get word from the painter that hired me about any warping. I have done frames, trailers, several older pick up cabs (hoods, door, and all). I have blasted log with soda, cob, and crused glass. Crushed glass (60-100) by far was the best finished surface. As for the mess in public or private areas. I first fore-warn about the mess. I swep up the bulk of it. Then blow it off surfaces with a back pack unit. And if needed it can be racked into the lawn. Will not kill vegetation like soda. I will keep soda for fire restoration jobs and the occassional customer who thinks he/she needs soda but that is about it. Too expensive! Funny because I live in a very wealthy city. Money everywhere. But they are the most frugle also.
