Thoughts On This Equipment?
I just picked up a Schmidt 175 (early 90's) gas pull behind compressor with the 351 Ford in it and a 2001 Schmidt 300# pressurized blast pot. We've been blasting log homes for awhile using other equipment (a 185 and different pot setup). Not knowing much about blasting outside of wood I'm curious how versatile this setup is when it comes to masonry and paint removal? When pushing glass bead and other media is a 175 typically enough to be productive? The pot is in great shape... the compressor needs a bit of work (exhaust and some fiberglass work) but it runs well and puts out a ton of air oil free. Not the prettiest thing in the world but for what I paid I couldn't pass it up.
Any thoughts on what this setup is worth used? |

Re: Thoughts On This Equipment?
pics can help us a bit more. seems like a pretty solid setup. just make sure your pots have all the new deadmans and are up to OSHA specs
