Tape To Protect Hydraulic Cylinders??

I am getting ready to bid a job on an old Case backhoe. What tape, and where do I find it? I need something to protect the Hydraulic Cylinders and glass guages from my blasting media. I dont want to under price it not knowing how much the tape is..

Re: Tape To Protect Hydraulic Cylinders??

When we did ours (580C), we used round sheet metal ducting to protect the cylinders, if I remember 3" fit almost perfectly. Just wraped it around the ram and held it on with duct tape.

We took the guages out on ours so I am not sure what would work for them.

Hey Kill,

what model case are you blasting?

Search for "Sandblasting resist" Prices & sizes listed online.
