Swimming Pool Concrete And Fiberglass

I've recently been asked to quote on sandblasting and painting a 20' x 40' concrete and fiberglass swimming pool. The top 3' is fiberglass wall with the bottom being concrete, it's 3' in the shallow end and 10' in the deep end.

The good part is the people are very accommodating and they won't be opening the pool until June, so time is not a real issue.

The bad part is I have done some sandblasting in the past, as has one of my workers, but not to this extent. I would like some advise on what size equipment to rent, how much sand / coal I should use and any other tips.

Thanks,

Leave the pools in your ad, but you should seriously think about geting rid of the little compressor and get a 375cfm and be able to complete an average size pool in 1 day easy for about $1500.00 (no clean up) Let the neighbor boys come over and clean it up. You will certainly be priced more competitively.
