Soda Blasting Plastic Bumpers

Today i tried to blast a plastic bumper bar and found it difficult the primer is harder than the plastic and as soon as the paint and primer blasts away it pits the plastic i ended up moving the nozzel further away from the bumper and just take away the paint layer leaving the primer for the customer to re paint is there any trick on removing the paint and primer and leaving the plastic smooth and not pitting it or is that just how some soft surfaces go

If the primer was in such good shape, why remove it. Sounds like it had great bonding to the plastic which makes for a good foundation. Don't remove it. You probably would not get another primer to bond as well again. Oh yeah. You can send my $25.00 US Dollars of course to me as well. E-mail me and I will send you my mailing address.

I just got my first bag in today . Thanks Ausisoda for asking. I would suspect that it will take a week or two for yours to get here to the states.
