Remember Your First Job?

Well, I'm about to go get a pot and I think I'm going to get started soon. Do you guys remember the first job you did when you got your equipment?

Mine wasnt to long ago.LOL. The worst time I ever had was storing my blasting pot in an airconditioned garage. Rolled it out into the 90 degrees weather to blast and guess what?? Condensation clogged me up good. I learned a good lesson that day.

Happened to myself as well - probably a little different scenario as I do dry ice blasting. It was pretty embarassing though, the CEO of the company was really interested in seeing DIB in person so he came down to watch - of course the day was humid, ran some water into my blaster and froze up! I had only used the machine twice before this job so I didn't know all the little ins and outs to get me through situations like this...good thing for sense of humor! a few jokes...stories...and a call to tech support...

Re: Remember Your First Job?

My first paid job went pretty smooth. Blasted a large snow plow for the county for powder coating. One of the big ones. The only thing is that I ran out of daylight and had to come back the next day to finish. Of coarse we had rain overnight and had to reblast the entire blade to remove the surface rust.
