Re: How Is Everybody Doing?
The jobs started coming a couple weeks ago for me but slowed down again. I landed a pretty good container job. 30 roll off containers. mainly 30yd but some 20 yd containers. I even got a job that the customer called me from a competitor's shop. Fortunately they weren't around - got my number from someone nearby and called me. Just as he was leaving they showed up but he told them he'd already commited to me.

Re: How Is Everybody Doing?
I got back from an auction in Fargo N.D. . I bought A couple of pallets of "junk" . It turned out to be three blast lights that work and an a Bullard 88 on the bottom of the crap. The Bullard is mostly new. I also picked up two pallets of glass from Glass Blast while I was there. The company that was sold was Called Porta-Blast. I also picked up a Schmidt 6.5 for a good deal. The pot I bought used to run a Bantam valve with a 1" 1/4 mix pipe. The valve is shot, is this valve capable of metering the correct amount of abrasive as Thompson 1,2 ? I have called marco and they claim it will. I would like to know if anyone has ever seen a 'Bantam" before. I have pics of this pot before and after my rip down it is about to get an overhaul.

panderson
We should have quardinated things. They were the only thing I went there for. They looked well used like everything there. Nothing was taken care of from what I gathered. I got there about 9:45 and left shortly before noon. |

Media Man,
I was at the auction I stayed I bought the the good looking schmidt pot for 700$. It was a steal compared to new pot price. It has been re-painted and is about to go into service. |

Re: How Is Everybody Doing?
Do you remember what the bidding started at? I imagine you scraped all the hose? Are you going to recomission the bulllard? Did you happen to see what the electric scissor lift went 4? I hate to say it but I thought everything was in pretty rough shape.
