Finally Got My Rig All Put Toegther!!
Got the 100 pound Clemco pot mounted on the front of the compressor. Got the Schmidt 600 pound mounted in the bed of the truck and there is plenty of room for a skid of media on the truck bed. Cant wait to put it to use next week.. Got a big job coming up...
I am going to keep a step ladder, extention ladder and 6 foot scaffolding in the truck. Seems the scaffolding will come in handy in most circumstances. What do you all have on your truck? Last edited by killzoneq2; 09-21-2007 at 02:11 PM. Reason: new photo |

If you are going to give someone a hard time consider proper spelling and sentence structure. Until then welcome to the site.

Re: Finally Got My Rig All Put Toegther!!
Killzone2 look at the third picture of my equipment. The aftercooler is a radiator with a fan blowing through it to cool the air down, then I have a 400 cfm water separtor right after it and two more water separtor on the pot.

Re: Finally Got My Rig All Put Toegther!!
kill basically, moisture is the enemy in any compressed air system now. If your air stream is wet, you arent getting a proper mix of air & media. Your blasting can be more productive with cool dry area. More productivity = more $$
air exiting the compressor flows into the aftercooler which has a 12v fan. its basically a big radiator where the fan is cooling the fins. from there, it goes into a moisture separator, removing droplets from the air stream, then into a drain where it is automatically dumped. Any remaining droplets will be removed from the pots trap (in your case, yes, in my case when blasting baking soda, the same isnt true. water vapor is still present in the air stream that affects the performance of baking soda) In your case, this isnt a problem because of the media you use isnt moisture senstive. Understand?
