Need A Little Input

HELLO TO ALL ; NEED ADVISE...CUSTOMER HAS OAK DOOR ENTRY WITH SIDE PANELS ,TYPICAL WINDOW (PLASTIC GRILL) 3 LITE,) ON EACH SIDE.
REQUESTING I PAINT SIDE PANELS AND WINDOW GRILL WITH MINI WAX OIL BASED PRODUCT TO MATCH WOOD GRAIN ON DOOR....PROBLEM ...NEW UNTOUCHED PINE WOOD INNER FRAME, INNER DOOR SIDE PANELS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAINTED WITH A LATEX PRODUCT, AND OUTER SIDE PANELS HAVE BEEN PAINTED WITH EXTERIOR SOLID LT. GREY STAIN.....I HAVE TO GIVE AN ANSWER...AND I AM REALLY STUMPED...DON'T KNOW FOR SURE IF I EVEN WANT THIS PROJECT ..LOL....THE ENTRY DOOR IS BURGANDY ...THE SIDE PANELS HAVE NO WOOD GRAIN AT ALL ...CAN THIS PRODUCT PRODUCE WOOD GRAIN APPEARANCE WHERE THERE IS NONE ???????

Dude,
you need to sand and sand and then cover with a good primer and paint.
then you need to explain to customer that this is still a potential problem.
