Multispec coatings

Has anyone used Multispec paint, made by Multi-Color Specialists? My local SW store gave me some specs which claim 150sq ft of coverage. They also recommend that you crosshatch w/50% crossover. I have 2548 sq' of concrete block, which has paint on it already, and I am trying to figure how much to order. It has to be special ordered and at just over $90.00/gal. I want to come as close as possible to the amount that will be needed. Thank you for any input on application, coverage and any other quirks about this product I may not have thought of.

I have used Multi-Spec many times in the past. Both through a HVLP and airless sprayer. I bet you can get more than 150 sf per gallon but probably not more than 225. What’s the lead time on getting the material in? Order short if you have time to wait for a 2nd order. They can probably overnight it for an additional charge – better than eating 5 gallons of expensive material.

Sounds like they are charging you a lot for the material, you better look into another supplier.
