Question

Iridescent Effect On Soffit/fascia

I have a customer who wants an iridescent or metal flake effect on his soffit and fascia. I priced some automotive metal flake, but it's too expensive to use for even a test application. I also tried hobby shop glitter--cost effective, but not at all attractive.

Does anyone know of a (cost effective) product or technique that would produce a metal flake or iridescent finish on soffit/fascia?

Also, try Golden paints. Or you can paint the area then apply irridescent wax over it. Make your own or look into other companies like Smooth Rock (Briste Group), ProFaux, etc..

How about the gold or silver glitter for textured ceilings. A little spay adhesive, and just use the bellows that comes with the glitter. I'll see if I can't find my old 8-tracks, I have a feeling somebodies going to be looking for some.
