Garage Floor Coating, (again)
Situation as follows, brand new garage floor, poured 4 months ago, surface was power troweled, its a tight smooth finish. space will be a concrete countertop shop. i need to protect the floor. this was my plan
1- floor has been covered since day one, so i will hose out, let it dry
2-acid stain, not sure of color yet
3-clear coat on top
do you guys see any problem with this basic approach?
what product would you recomend? both for the acid stain and clear coat. there is alot of product out there, its a bit confusing. THANKYOU, G

Polished concrete would be a great option.
Polished concrete is easy to maintain will flatten the floor for a nice level surface, if you get splatter and sealer on it you can re polish it out.

Top-coating the acid stain with an epoxy or polyurea would work. If it were my personal garage I would top coat with Polyaspartic backrolled with glass bead for slip resistance but still have good cleanability. You have about a bizzilion different options each with their own pros and cons.

the colors look dull in the photo, when sealer or water hits the surface, the colors are intense.
