Fence Staining Pricing

What is the general pricing rule for staining wood fences, 6' in height? Square or linear foot? The fence will be new and I've been told that new wood doesn't need to be powerwashed? Does this sound correct? Any input on price per/LF or Sq ft is appreciated as well.

Here try a few of these & I am sure you can come up with a price

Rule of thumb? Material Costs + Labor Costs + Contingency + Overhead + Profit = Price

So easy a 5th grader could do it

Re: Fence Staining Pricing

So how do you figure your labor costs...how long should it take them to spray 100 lf of a 6' in height wood fence? I know how to arrive at a price, but would like help in estimating time.

just think about in your experiance how long it would take you to paint the fence... in days. now how much do you need to make to cover your end + how much to pay your help + how much to pay your self + profit

LOL 100 foot long, 6 foot high, and both sides.

I would charge you a full day and be done by noon.

Wow, an oldie!

We don't like to bring up "how much". Things can get out of hand that way.

Let's keep it to more of what things to consider when determining pricing.
