ProSource anyone buy from them?

Hi all,

I'm going to a 'green product' demo tomorrow at ProSource. I've never bought from them before so really only know what I've read on the internet about them......written by them. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with them that they'd like to share?

Thanks
Mary

I just did a search (which is what I should have done to begin with) and got lots of info. Anyone bought their 'green' flooring?

Thanks

I never bought any Green products from them but I have purchased flooring from them. I think they must be a franchise business so customer service can vary from store to store but they basicaly function like a plumbing supply house:

You send customers into their showroom to pick out flooring/tile products.

They quote the customer a retail price

They sell you the product wholesale only to pros

At least that's how they used to work, last time I used them my parents needed tile so they went in and said they were my parents and the price they charged me was the same price they quoted my parents. Not sure if they changed the way they work or they just didn't want me making a quick buck off my folks.

I use them for all my tile. the prices are the best I can get anywhere. they also arraigned for a line of credit. no real complaints.

I have a new sales person who really doesn't know much about tile so I have to be very careful with my orders.

I use them as well, decent prices, nice showroom. Only drawback is they don't stock the material there, everything has to be ordered, but usually only takes a day or two to get. nice thing is the have tile, engineered flooring, laminate, and carpet, so you can get it all in one stop.

And like the others said, the quality and knowledge of the sales people varies from store to store. As a pro customer, you have access to the showroom 24/7, or at least it used to be like that. I never used the option, but heard others that did and it worked out great for meeting clients later in the evening.
