I like them but would have been nice if they would have moved the furring strip out to the edge of the insulation.

I doubt we ever see any here in NC. Maybe the mountains.

Ya definitely. I can understand keeping the furring strip in its location for saving $$ by not having to tool a new mold for the ties, but it does seem like overall it would become a pita for contractors to have to use 4-6" long fasteners to attach interior and exterior finishes.

I emailed those links to the guy who designed my house, he likes them. What he said to do is use the thickest form on the outside that I can afford and use the 2.75 on the inside, maybe I'll get some benefit from the thermal mass? Oh and we have a dealer up here too, I have an email in asking for pricing.
