Re: Unloading Granite

Here's a driveway I did over a heated slab. Some kind of Brazilian natural cleft. I think it was about 2" thick.

Re: Unloading Granite

I did the job 4 or 5 years ago. Can't remember the price of the stone. It was pretty cheap, I believe about the same as bluestone at the time.
It's laid in a portland mud and the joints are about 3/8"-1/4"

Re: Unloading Granite

That looks nice.
How are you handling the joints?
What kind of grid is it cut to, metric?
What does it cost?
Sorry for all the questions

Re: Unloading Granite

i designed and had this job cut for my own house, i import granite from overseas, this job is made up of 4x4- 4x8- 16x16- 16x8- its a pretty complicated layout, my guys heads are spinning; joints will be sanded, mat is 2'' thick, it will retail around $14 to $16 per sq ft.

Re: Unloading Granite

Nice, never seen it done like that. Looks like the quarry or fab guys did a nice job with keeping things uniform.
