Starting the slate floor Monday

3/4" gauged, unfading green Vermont slate. On Ditra and Durock. Start laying the Durock tomorrow. Hope I don't put any screws through the heat lines.

I think I am beginning to dislike you Mr. K.

You see, I envy Craftsmen like you, and Gene, and Leo and Bud and Greg and, Mac...........(those I left out, do not be dismayed. I only have so much room to type here!).....I only wish that I had pursued a singular Craft with the intent and "Eye" that you have.

So, by default and through "being green with envy", I do not like you any more!

13th?

Trying our best not to put a screw through the tubing. It all worked out.

Another way to do it. Mark out the tubing on poly, then just lay it over the Durock abd screw right through everything.

Doubt it. 1000 year old stone bridges still carrying traffic is my kind of masonry porn. You know what I mean, bobcaygeonjon.
