What would impress me more, aside from the obvious quality and Craftsmanship, is if you were to tell that the materials were from jobsite excess.

To me there is NOTHING more Beautiful than Form and Function done for Free!

Nice! I like the window detail.

I have a lot of "free" material stored in the yard at this point, and the wife has finally mentioned it, so beginning this weekend, I will use it up. I don't just stack it on pallets, mind, you, I "store" it by drystacking walls, making brick tables, etc, but she says it is starting to look like an insane bricklayer's sculpture garden (which is exactly what it is, but I didn't tell her that).

I have a wishing well planned, an outdoor woodstove surround, and a bar area to build.

2 a: criminally or tragically foolish actions or conduct bobsolete : evil , wickedness ; especially : lewd behavior

3: a foolish act or idea

4: an excessively costly or unprofitable undertaking

5: an often extravagant picturesque building erected to suit a fanciful taste

Yes, the brick and stone were bought by some one other than me. I did however have to buy the snapped face block and a couple bags of mortar.
