Re: My Christian Church Sign

Let it dry out. Once it has dried for a month, and you have a week to let it re-dry, clean it with a proprietary cleaning solution and a hose, then let it dry for a week and seal it. Problem solved.

From the looks of it, I would use SureKlean 800 detergent or 101 lime solvent at about a 10 to 1 ratio, then seal it with Prime-A-pell 200. Any similar products should work fine.

THX , Have you ever worked with this stone before? I liked it ,It was cut in nominal sizes of 4-6-8-10-and12 inch high pieces. It cut were I wanted it to with a carbide tip broadhead. The hardest part was the compound corner stones.I set the sign first on pipe columns that were Hilti bolted to the footer.I drilled 1/8" holes in the bottom of the sign 1" in on the corners and put jack lines on the 4 corners down to the cmu corners.

It is a nice evenly bedded stone. It is part of the Austin Chalk group. To really learn how to use it, ask JVC.
