I think he's trying not to fall off. The actual finish paving was only about 1/2 done, so the middle of the bridge was a bit rough.

All the small joints will be tightly chinked. The parts that are done are very easy to walk on believe it or not.

Karl,
That is some stunning work, certainly worth the drive to take part. Did you lead, was there an "Expert" telling everyone yay or nay? It's awesome that you travel all over to take part, kudos to you!!!

I just went as a casual tourist. I have the opportunity to take on as much or as little responsibility as I want. On this trip I was just skilled labor. The core group put in 8-9 hrs. a day. I probably worked about 6 hrs. a day. There were a number of smaller projects going on throughout the property so I would bounce around between them also. The bridge was my main reason for going up though.
Hoping to head back to Ventura this Jan. for another Stone Foundation project.

I see you are in Ontario. How far are you from Rockport? I know Ontario is BIG, 2 people came from up north, not too far north, and it was an 8 hr. drive for them.
If you're in the area, it's worth a stop by.
