Very nice work! Looks like it may have taken a while to lay the radius on the front gable. Also looks like the brick material could have been a challenge to pick thru for the detail work. Almost looks like clinkers mixed in?

Those are about 6 or 7 different types of reclaimed brick that we had to sort out and mix together. They are about 8 lbs a piece and the most I could lay in a day was about 500.

It was actually smaller then that. We poured another footing and made it 3 feet bigger to what it is now. And it is useless but it was the homeowner's design and the are happy.

It looks like a set up and lay out nightmare. Did you tie all the inside corners together, or run a cold joint up?

I laced some of the front corners but for the most part cold joint.

Nice job for some knarly brick. Just out of curiosity, would the porch piers have looked bad without the miters on top? Not critisizing at all, it looks good. Just a thought.
