Really think so? I'll drop Robinson Brick a line. Maybe they would like to put it on their website.

I am a carpenter on the same job with CJKarl-and he has done phenomenal work. You should see that gable now that we have finished it off, it really complements the chimney. I will try to post some pictures of that.

Interesting - when I see the remains of an old house in a field. Usually the only thing left standing is the chimney.

That chimney looks like it will be there a loooooonnnnnggggg time....

Re: Finally Got Some Pics Of My Latest Chimney

I know this is an old thread but WOW. That is just beautiful. I can only dream that some day I would have the talent to do something like that. I have only been laying brick for 1 year and unfortunatly I am all self taught. I would easily work for someone with your talent for free just so I could pick your brain.
I recently finished bricking a building where the owner asked to have the company name written in brick. Its about 28 feet long and I thought it was pritty cool until I saw this.
Awsome. And I loved seeing the progress pictures in your other thread too. Thank you for sharing them.

Check out my website. I must preface this by saying I'm a much better mason than a web guy. I did it myself, it's very primitive.

Re: Finally Got Some Pics Of My Latest Chimney

Beautiful work. When I first saw the pictures of the arched cap I said to myself it looks good but is that going to last? Then I read your posts on how you built it. Great work and some smart thinking. I would guess getting the arched forms out of there must have been a pain.

Did you ever posts pictures of the inside work? anything special?
