Artificial Stone ID Help

I'm trying to locate a source on the artificial stone in these pictures. I've seen it on a few of the local buildings/houses built in the 60's/early 70's, but no one locally can tell me what it is.

Up close, there are a few chips that reveal it's a molded concrete product. Anybody able to give me a positive ID and where I can find it?

Feel free to email me as well.

joshcadwell@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Josh

If you had to match real stone I'd say Penn. Wall Stone. (thats what the yards up here call it)

Makes me cringe looking at the install. The good news is that it is mostly brown, you could use a style that matches it and stain it to get close to the color. Most of the larger stone manufacturers make a similar style. Any local sales rep for a brick or block or other company that handles a stone line should be able to help you out.

As stone, it is ugly as crap both in application and in appearance, but seen through the lense of wall decoration, it isn't so bad. I have never seen a faux stone even close to that, though.

Possibly Coronado. I recognize some of the pieces. Not sure of manufacture, What area are you in?

I'm located in southeastern Washington State. It looks very similar to the native basalt we have here. I've found one house and one commercial business with these stones on them. They were both built in the 50's and 60's, but no one can source the stone used. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Looks like something from a Jurassic Park movie.
