Remember, all codes are minimum for life and safety. They aren't about how it looks, and they aren't about high quality. They are about bare minimum.
That being said, I like the I codes. I like the consistency. I really like the way they did the Residential code. The UBC, with its exceptions for residential was to cumbersome. |
