What A Wonderful Crappy Day!

I finally got my truck decaled with my company name and PC #. ( It was naked for 3 weeks) I was having trouble making up my mind how I wanted the truck lettered and my business cards to look like. And today I picked up my truck after it got it's wonderful decals. I was so proud of myself. Then at the 2nd stop light away from the decal shop I get rearended. . So my new/used truck with it's new decals got smashed to hell and my lower to mid back hurts like. I guess it's good I didn't put on the topside mount boxes yet!
The poor sap behind me got rearended by some female the didn't even applied the brakes.

I think it's time for a pain pill and bed. Got to take my oldest boy to cub scouts for the derby race in the morning.

Jeez, buddy, tomorrows gotta be better. Good luck and enjoy the time with your kid (it's all that really counts anyway).

You're alive and able to take you kid to cub scouts.

Its just a truck. Sorry to hear about it, but I'm glad you walked away.

Make sure you get your back checked out, if you didn't already! Your truck can be repaired/replaced much more easily than your back!

The only time I ever worry about that kind of thing happening is when I get a new vehicle or get new paint and graphics. You walked away, you'll get everything right again.

Re: What A Wonderful Crappy Day!

I thought I would share the results of the (toy derby) race.... Umm our car Sucked!!! My boy was so crushed! wanted to quit and go home after the first race. I think it did 3.879 everyone else were 2.859 area. I convenced him to stay and continue to race and winning isn't everything. What counts is that we built that loosing car together and we made it here to race it. Well at least we did better than 5.465 that was the slowest car racing today. I looked at his car after the event and he had a front wheel that wouldn't spin anymore?? Next year we are building a better car, Well 2 cars my youngest son will race next year too.

I'm a little upset about the truck, I lost it for a day to get it decaled and now going to loose it for ??? many day to get it repaired. I'm going to go bankrupt before I get started!. Plus it's making the wife mad that I been using here 05 Grand Cherokee to work out of.

Monday 9am I'm seeing the Dr for my back. I had tears in my eyes tring to get up to go to the derby with my family. Felt like I been ran over.

Thank you for all of your concerns. It means alot!

Or the wife does.

Hope the doc has good news about your back. Maybe you'll get lucky and all your service calls next week will be Delta single levers.

Re: What A Wonderful Crappy Day!

Years ago I too had to build "the car" with my son, and yes my baby girl also needed one so we ended up building 2.

Too think back now almost 12-13 years ago its pretty hard, today my son serves our country in Iraq in the army. And my daugther is expecting our first grandchild in April.

Trucks are replaceable, too me its just money. Time spent with your kids now is so inportant..

Hope today your back feels better.
