Water Softeners
Even if I don't install them, I do mention to customers the benefits of switching to potassiaum chips verses salt pellets.
Aside from the betterment for the enviroment and "better" for you, what are other benefits to using the sodium free chips? Do you still use salt? I had a lady tell me (after I told her to consider switching) who is on a septic, that she was told (recently) that the kind of softener was only for the "Morton" brand salt.....I was kind enough to let her know that her Econominder 5600 didn't care if there was salt or potassiaum in it. That is true, isn't it? That's what my supplier told me!! |
