Water Heaters AO Smith Vs. Lochinvar

Do AO Smith and Lochinvar both manufacture quality water heaters? Any other brands that are better or worse as far as reliability and quality are concerned?

What type heater are you talking about, gas fired or indirect type?

The A.O.Smith and the Lockinvar are aimed at totally different market segments. Trying to compare them is like trying to compare a Chevy Mailbu to a Cadillac. The Lochinvar is the Cadillac unit.

I just realized that I'm replying to a year old thread. Jeeze. Cut it out, tzzzz216.
