Water Heater Supply Question
Want to run soft water to C side of kitchen sink, currently plumbed hard.
Is there any problem with replacing the 3/4 90, that supplies the water heater with a 3/4 X 1/2 X 34 tee to make this short run to kitchen sink? Or does the supply to water heater have to terminate there, in which case I would cut in to soft water line before water heater. Any input greatly appreciated as I'm planning this job tomorrow. Regards, Bob |

Re: Water Heater Supply Question
You can tee off anywhere but the 3/4" that continues to the wtr htr must have a dedicated shut-off only serving the heater.
