Tub Leaking Past Shower Curtain When Shower Is On

Just moved in to a new place and I'm having a problem with the shower in the main bath. It is a one piece tub with a tile surround. The problem is that the tub has a flat ledge all the way around it, about 3 inches deep. The tub is also slightly slopping into the room. Even with the shower curtain closed as much as possible, water hits the ledge and just runs on to the floor. Obviously the tub was designed to have a sliding door system installed. I'm curious if there are any products that are designed to help prevent this? I have seem little suction cup deals that attach to the shower curtain to hold it closer to the wall, but this will only help the problem. I think I need some sort of a weatherstripping track along the front of the tub to stop water. Thoughts? Thanks.

Aside from band-aids, I see resetting the tub or a glass door as your fix options.

This is just a rental, so any band aid suggestions are much appreciated. Resetting the tub would be a hugely costly ordeal, and I can't say that it would rectify the problem. A shower door would be great, but I don't see that happening unless it is on my dime. Which isn't going to happen.

There are water dams that fit onto the corners of tubs, to help keep that water directed back into the tub when using shower curtains. Can't find a picture but I've gotten them out of HD before. Peel and stick into place.
It's a quick fix, obviously much prefer doors.

Had the same problem in a rental unit a few years ago. These work great... assuming your curtain blocks most of the water.

Get a splash guard, something like this... rubber duck is not included, you will have to get your own.

If not, send your landlord an email or a letter, tell him the tub is installed incorrectly and it floods the bathroom, maybe he give you the job in exchange for rent.
