Tankless With Tank Inline
Would it work to put a tanklees inline to feed a tank when its at its highest demand?

It can be piped with a storage tank but with another tank type water heater Im not 100% what is the application

It may work if you put the horse before the cart, I would use the tank to preheat and the tankless for the higher temp water.

A properly sized and installed tankless should provide a continuous flow of hot water indefinately. I don't see that a tank would be any benefit.
