Stoppage , In Space Saver W.C

Can anyone tell me if they had any problems with the American Standard space Saver W.C ? I installed 2 of these in the same house about a week ago ,1 in the masterbath and 1 in the guest bathroom , the Ho kids us the guest bath ages 17 & 14 , , They called me out 3 days ago and said the guest w.c. is backing up i went over and plunged and augered out and it was cleared and then put the test to it with toilet paper about 4 or 5 times never backed up on me ,so today they called me again and said it was backing up ,i checked all the clean outs and everything was dry, then i went in inside and check out the w.c and sure enough it was backed up but as i was watching it it emptyed out , then i pulled the w.c to see if the riser was full of water it was bone dry, while i had the w.c off i ran my cable down the line 30' the line was clear !! I took the toilet out side and turned it over only to find the trap packed with doo nothing else in it . So my question is this are those kids dumping big time -----s , to much TP or is it the maybe 1'3/4 trap way causing it or the new water closet , the master bathroom is working great per HO same brand in their installed the same day . Thanks in advance .

I use these space savers and have never had any problems. A logical step: swap the toilets with each other and see if the problem persists at the same hole or follows the toilet. Voila - problem isolated.

Sounds like kids are overloading the toilet to me.

I too was having a problem with a new American Standard space saver the other day. The home owner installed it a few weeks prior, i plunged it and augered it, and it would flush fine, and about every for or five flushes, it wouldnt flush.

Plumbing pros, its been about a month now and no problems, I'm sure now it was the kids just over loading it

I did have trouble with an American Standard wc once. The closet flange on the floor went immediately into a street 90. After getting a new Am St bowl to replace the original (I thought maybe the first one was defective), I finally ended-up replacing the whole thing with a Toto...no problems since.
