Steamist Lines And Insulation
I have a steamist unit for my shower and the pipes from the unit to the steam outlet (inside the shower) get extremely hot. I was told to take the paper off the fiberglass pink insulation and wrap the pipes with it. It seems ok but sometimes i smell something funky when i go into the room behind the shower, where the pipes are in the wall (the wall is still open). Is this form of insulation ok?? It just doesnt seem right. thanks
