Southern Mike's Question...

Mike asked this question on another thread & no one answered him. I suppose he is talking about Sharkbite fittings? Are these intended to be used in "exposed" areas only?

I Do Alot Of Handyman Work In My Townhome Community.. I Am Not Overly Qualified In Plumbing..however, It's Amazing To Me At How Many Compression Fittings Are Made For Plumbing Fixtures..most People Still Think That Soldering Is Required.. Do You Think This Will Affect The Plumbing Business Once The Average Person Finds Out How Easy It Is To Change Valves??

Nope cause knowledge is what we have, and those without the knowledge is what makes them call plumbers.

I'm not worried.

Re: Southern Mike's Question...

"Can i tile on peeled drywall?
Hello,
I'm going to tile a bathroom (bathtub area) and upon removing the old tiles, i noticed that the green tape that comes with the drywall peeled off along with the tiles. Now the only thing left there is the brown cardboard type material.

I was wondering if I can proceed to tile with some adhesive 12x12 porcelain tiles on it? Or do I have to replace all the drywall?"

This guys calls himself a tile pro, yet the post screams HO.
Do people really think they can BS this much?

Heck I don't even know, don't care to know, that's for siders to know, I'd let them handle it, and not ask questions, let them deal with a leak if it occurs afterwards.
