Sink Overflow
Is it required that vanity sinks have an overflow connected?
I know its not required for vessel sinks that sit above the counter? I am considering installing a drop in sink made from natural stone and its does not have any overflow hole/connection. THanks |

Re: Sink Overflow
State to state vary on this gray area. From a plumbers standpoint, it is best to have one.I met a real cheapo last year that i would not install a drop in bowl due to no over flow. Mr cheap-o called the inspection dept. and they said overflows are NOT required. Best thing I can tell you is to check w/ your plumbing inspection in your area
