Try searching the name, I'm pretty sure I have seen the name mentioned.

We rent Rigid equipment on the rare chance that we need it, which might be about once every two years.

Re: Sewer Camera & Locator

I did search the name and got alot of info off their site. I checked with a few other plumbers here in Baltimore and they never heard of them. This is a big purchase and I hope to find someone with some feedback before I make the purchase. I don't want to regret it.

I can give you feedback on the Rigid SeeSnake, it works great, but I have not bought one, and never will, it is not a piece of equipment I would get any use out of.

Re: Sewer Camera & Locator

Is there some reason why you're considering a high-dollar purchase from a brand that nobody has ever heard of? Why wouldn't you consider the Ridgid equipment, since you can get parts and service anywhere, and your men in the field are already likely familiar with its operation?

Re: Sewer Camera & Locator

This company is on the west coast and has been around for awhile. I'm on the east coast and the prices I'm getting on the ridiged are very high compared to some of these other companys prices. So I'm leaving it up to my peers to help me out . Thanks for any info.

Re: Sewer Camera & Locator

I own a Ridgid camera and the sr-20 locator.I use them fairly often and it has never missed yet.The camera almost anyone can use,the sr-20 is not for the novice. There are other brands such as General which parts should be fairly readily available.I think General is right up there with Ridgid price wise.
